2010 FX4 ABS issue after Bilstein 5100 install

2010 FX4 F150
I replaced a stock suspension/rough country 2" coil spacer lift with Bilstein 5100s front and back. While replacing the passenger side front shock I noticed a small piece of metal with a spring attached to it on the ground. I've attached a picture of the spring. I'm not exactly sure where the piece goes, but it resembles some sort of relief valve device. Also, when I cranked up the truck I got a brake light, abs light and a constant reminder every 10 minutes of run time to "Check Brake System". The ESC light is also on all the time and can't be turned off. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Chris

The spring may or may not be related to the ABS issue. Thanks for any ideas.

Brought truck to a buddy and hooked up to a computer. ABS sensor driver side. I'll investigate further as time allows. Spring must be some extra piece to a tool or truck that isn't really needed, I have a bucket full of those that I collect.
