CPO Warranty Concern with Turbo Problems
Hey everyone,
I have a 2013 F150 with the 3.5L ecoboost and about 77,000 miles on it. The truck is CPO with a powertrain warranty through 100,000 that covers turbo chargers.
This is the second F150 I've owned and can promise that this will be the last Ford I ever buy...this has not been a well built truck with consistent problems.
Today's issue...
It's currently at the dealer and needs a new Turbo Bypass Valve & new Wastegate Solenoid. The solenoid sounds like it's something that works with the computer to control engine boost. The valve is designed to release pressure in the intake system.
My dealership is stating that these two parts are not considered to be part of the powertrain and therefore are not covered. I'm looking at a $900 repair estimate.
Any help or advice??
Thank you!

I'm calling "BS!" on that! Pay for it and then take FORD and your stealership to small claims court and ask for your money back. Then tell your story on social media and name the dealership.
