I have a 2009 F-150 stx 4.6 Starts, runs fine for about 30 sec. then dies. I can immediately hit the key and it fires right back up, runs for another 30 sec.

Every once in a while when I start it, It will continue to perfectly, drive it for several miles does great. Get back to the shop, shut it off, then start it right back up, and it goes back to dying every 30 sec.

I put a code reader on it, NO error codes, NO check engine light.

Put a fuel Pressure gauge on fuel rail, with key ON,engine OFF. Fuel reads 40PSI.

Start truck fuel slowly drops to 5PSI, that is when the truck Dies, as soon as engine comes to a complete stop Fuel pressure returns to 40 PSI.

Also note, at the point when engine is stalling if I put accelerator pedal to the floor fuel Pressure jumps up to 40 PSI and truck will pick back up and continue to run for about 30 sec.

My first guess was fuel pump issues, new pump installed, Pressure reads 60PSI but dies at 35 to 40 seconds.

Also Installed New fuel filter, Still having the same issue

 

Probably the fuel pump control module.
