Fuel pump 2009 f150
Hey looking for a little advise.
Definitely have a fuel pump problem and now dealing with the problem of draining and dropping the tank. Truck gave me some signs last week it was going out should have left the tank close to empty.
Truck is a 2009 F150 XLT Supercrew reg bed. 4.6L 3v with regular tank 145 wheel base. This model you can not take off the bed to reach the fuel pump so I have to drop the tank.
First problem is draining the tank, I have close to 20 gallons in the tank right now and thanks to anti siphon devices I am unable to run tubes to the tank to drain it.
Any ideas on how to drain the tank so I don't have to deal with a 160lb tank full of gas moving around when I unbolt it?
