No Longer a F-150 Owner

Traded in my F-150 Platinum for a F-350 Dually...we needed it to safely tow our 5th wheel trailer. We were towing it with my son in laws F-250 but the RV was too heavy. Bit the bullet and bought a 2017 Lariat Super Duty. Got it two days ago and a little over 200 miles...16.3 mpg so far.

Thanks...I couldn't believe that a diesel dually Lariat could list for almost 2K less then a loaded out F-150. Other then the 176" WB its not bad to drive...up to 16.3 mpg with only a little over 200 miles on it!

Nice......and Nice! Funny thing, just for kicks I've been playing around on the Super Duty site for a few days. In some instances, I was building a F250 Lariat, sometimes a F350 Dually for about the same as a loaded F150 Lariat. Yea, did I say that was Sharp?!

Thanks Roadie...I loved my '13 F-150 and hated to get rid of it but sooner or later something bad would have happened if we'd still be pulling the trailer with the F-250. Its the payload capacity of the truck itself that can't handle the weight of the trailer. Now the dually will become my daily driver but being retired and living in the country it shouldn't be that bad...it actually rides smoother then I thought!!

Thanks Scarlet,

MSRP on mine was $66,480...the Limited and Platinum F-150 are in that range or above.

Nice truck Paw Paw. I, on the other hand, am back in a 150. I traded my 2013 F250 in on a 2017 F150 Platinum. I'll post pics when I get back in town. Loved my 6.7 but didn't need all that truck anymore.

Enjoy the Super Duty. They are awesome trucks!!!
