Totally out of the blue today the stereo in my 2010 FX4 became stuck on one XM channel. Nothing on the Sync console works, nothing, won't even power off or change volume levels. It's simply stuck on the one channel and at a certain volume level.

The only thing I'm allowed to do now is change XM presets by way of the steering wheel control button. Better then nothing I guess.

Anyone else ever have something like this happen? My only thought is to disconnect the battery and see if that reboots the system.

Any tips would be appreciated!

 

Try pulling the fuse for the radio. Might be easier than disconnecting the battery.
