Probably 5 or 6 months ago I was getting into my truck one night and just as I was going to open the door I noticed the instrument cluster lit up. I didn't put too much thought into it since I wasn't sure if I had pulled the door handle just enough for the interior lights to come on or not.

Now 2 nights ago the truck was sitting in the driveway untouched for a week and I looked out and seen the dash lights were on for a short amount of time. Both times this happend the keys were in the ignition, I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it or not.

Can anyone explain why it does that? I'm just wandering if it's normal or not.

I see the kit is for dash lights not cutting off. Mine blink and act like a strobe light sometimes while driving. They don't stay on once truck is shut off.
