Like or Not electric steering

So does everybody like the new electric steering for the new trucks???

The v8 is heavier in the front compared to the v6,, you have a little more resistance in steering then the v6. Drove a v8 powered xlt at work,, it felt different. Little more resistance.

I love how the truck drives and handles with it.
I probably wouldn't like it as much if I had to replace the steering rack when the truck was out of warranty.

I had to replace a standard rack and pump on my '08 for $1000. This electric setup feels better to me and at 88,000 miles I haven't found anything I don't like about it so far.

I like it just fine. No issues in 85,000 on one truck and 13,000 on current truck.

Love it so far. The first thing my cousin who toes with a Dodge Cummins said about driving our truck was how easy it steered. 63,000+ miles.

The steering response is instantaneous. You better not wiggle the steering wheel if you don't want to turn.

I like it, have it on my Hyundai Elantra touring also. Much better than the 2010 E450 bus I also drive.

So far I'm liking it. The wife likes it too, but the problem is when she gets back in the edge, she says the steering is heavy in it

It feels a little light for me but I've gotten used to it. My wife thinks it's very easy to drive because of the steering.

Love it - so light and easy to drive. I actually had our 2010 Flex checked out because after driving the truck I thought it was to heavy and might have a pump problem. Turned out to be fine but I have a hard time driving it now.

I like heavy steering. Better road feel. I drove a new Fiesta with electric steering and hated it.

I like it on my Taurus. My '04 is nice with the standard power steering but the car drives nice with the EPAS.
