Took mine in yesterday. They contended that it was just the button indicator light that is burned out. I really don't think it is as I've pushed the button more than once trying to get the rear glass clear on dew'y mornings... going to do some testing this weekend while the controls replacement to arrive.

 

Mine quit working now too, I wonder when my rear glass will blow out?

 

I have a 2014 Ford F150 FX4
The rear window defogger has just quite.
Dealer says its most likely the glass and the warranty doesn't cover it,
you will have to call Ford Canada. Is this a common problem with anyone else?

 

I have a 2014 and I was told that there is a diode built into the rear window that fails and the whole window $500 has to be replaced when it fails. I am on my 3rd. Original was replaced twice! Today it failed again. I am in Wisconsin and need it about 9 months a year! I will be suing in SC court for the replacement.

I have had the same problem with my rear defrost. It was working fine then the light started blinking, then it stopped working. I took it into the the dealership because I have the Ford Premium Extended Warranty and they said it was because of the tint. The problem is it was working after it was tinted. Now they want to take pictures. Any advice?
