My dad was driving a 2011 EB for work that had over 70k. He was driving in heavy rain on interstate and the condensation deal happened to him. Lost power and after it dried out was back to normal. The rear end was howling as well and the pinion bearing was bad. There was shavings in the oil so the dealer changed all the bearings in the rear end. So I bought a 5.0

222000 klms
I have 222000 klms. Original motor turbos everything. Suspension was totally redone and brakes ect. Had to do plugs 4 times now and did the weep hole mod on the intercooler. Best mod was the weep hole! Not a issue since then, 80000 klms ago. Oh cats are plugged now but just delete and go with a tune.

2013 F150 EB - 165,000+ miles: $450 repairs. Love it!
i've read about problems related to misfires while driving in very humid or moist conditions and it was related to the charge air cooler getting too much moisture inside. But i realize there was also a plug change and gap on the plug change also. I also read about potential carbon build up on a couple of specific intake valves where the pcv valve empties its gases into the intake. The thought on the carbon issue is because it's direct injected and the fuel does not spray on the valves to clean them all the time.
Anyway, i realize by asking a discussion forum we will get only a tiny tiny percentage of answers from 3.5l ecoboost owners because the vast majority of f150 owners will never join a discussion forum like this. But i was just curious who has high mileage and has not experienced these problems on 2014 four 2013 models. I would like to keep my truck for at least 10 years or maybe 12.
My truck is a 2014 built in april. It has the latest charge air cooler and tune from the factory.

2011 Ecoboost high mileage currently 450k on 8/21/23
Update on my high mileage 2011 F150 Ecoboost currently 450k on 8/21/23.
Synthetic blend and Motorcraft filter changes from 5k-10k depending when I have time. Water pump at 200k, transmission at 353k (had a used tranny and flex plate put in for $2000), AC compressor at 410k. Plugs every 50k, coils every 100k, brakes (great use of lifetime warranty pads from Autozone) hoses, and belts as needed. Struts and upper arms at 300k, driver side lower ball joint around 330k. Original motor and turbos. Never had a alignment. Never changed rear differential fluid yet. A couple starters (one under Autozone warranty), 1 - O2 sensor, rear shocks once. Passenger valve cover (one of the spark plugs oil seals went bad in the cover). Pegasus Auto Racing Silicone hose kit for coolant tank. A bunch of windhshelds (Arizona rocks all over the roads). Not sure how may sets of tires. There is minor oil seepage, but no major oil leaks, no spots in garage. Blower motor. Power wire going to driver window motor went bad in the harness at door hinge area, so just ran another power wire to get it running instead of replacing harness or trying to repair wire. Hoping to make it to 500k. Forgot to add have NOT replaced cam phasers or timing chain. It as been making cam phaser noise for 200k but not sure if I want to sink $2500-$3000 for cam phasers/timing chain and water pump job.
