2014 Tundra vs 2013 F-150 Interiors

Decided to go be nosy today and took a look at a new 2014 Tundra. The amount of similarities between the two interiors is interesting.

IMO the Tundra has gone downhill with this refresh, things looked and felt cheaper than what I've seen in the past from my own Tundras. And it sure does look like alot of copying what Ford has done.

Tried to zoom in on the payload rating which was 1,360lbs. Damn iphone sucks!

Yeah, they definitely just huddled around the big round table at their design meeting and just said... "copy the F-150".

Loved seeing the F150 amongst a sea of Tundras! Just don't scare the poor F150 like that, and make sure to reward her with a fresh tank of gas for being driven on a Toyota lot!

Love the radio station, BTW...that's my personal fave!

lol, nah O Blue is not scared considering she can drag them Tundras around the block. If anything it reinforced that the F150 is and has been light years ahead of even the latest Tundras.

Wife likes Hits 1.... I generally keep it on the Highway as far as stations.

Funny part was the salesman asked me why I got rid of my Tundra that I had bought from them. I said it just wouldn't do the things I needed it to do.

What did he say to that?

I love that song, and station too! I always change the outside stereo to XM59 at work from whatever crap someone had it on.

But jeez . . . the air vents and gauge clusters could be eligible for copyright infringement! The 2014 GM interiors don't look all that different from the 150's either.

Salesman just kinda shrugged it off lol

I drove a 2014 Sierra last month, I was not impressed at all with the interior or exterior. The only thing good about the Sierra was the ride quality, everything else sucked.

If you wanna see a REAL truck, just fast forward to 1:04 and again at 2:04.

Very similar looking interior, indeed. IMHO, that's where the similarities end. You know that better than anyone now, eh prime?

The platinum level interior isn't too bad on the Tundra, but the 2014 release is just alot more cheap crap than usual.

Prime, did you ever think it was a huge pain in the *** how the volume (or tuning?) **** on Tundra/Sequoia radios are so far away that you have to lean forward and reeeeach to get to it? I HATE that
