Confused on tire sizes

I will be in the need for new tires soon. I have a 2010 SCAB lariat,4x4, Tow package, Factory 20" Rims.

What is the largest/widest tire size can I goto without rubbing?

TIA

search. this is covered constantly. you can fit a 35 inch tall tire with a leveling kit, but as you approach 12.5 inches wide you will rub on the a arm due to the high factory offset. so a 295 may be a better width choice

285/55/20 is your safest bet. The only problem is that in this size almost every tire is 10 ply and HEAVY. I have the BFG in this size and they are 8 ply. So they are a little bit lighter than Nitto & ToyoAT2's.

I ran these 305x55x20 with no rubbing at stock height on my OEM wheels.https://www.f150online.com/forums/me...re160129-a.jpg.

I have a 2012 FX4. I am running Goodyear Duratracs 275/65/20 with stock suspension. No rubbing. The only thing I had to do was some very minor trimming on the inside of the front splashguard.

I do use the search, what part of confused do you not understand?

Thanks for the recommendations.

I have the 295/65R20 (34"x12") Nitto trial grappler m/t with a leveling kit and no rubbing issues. I believe this is the biggest you can go without rubbing. Without a leveling kit I believe the 305/55R20 (33") is the way to go. As previously stated it is the width that you have to watch because of the factory offset.

I'll install the leveling kit if it helps, no problems there.
Thanks
