gas gauge not registering full
When I fill up my truck the gas gauge doesn't register full and the DTE if off. This will correct itself after 20 miles or so. Anyone else have this issue?

Are you leaving the key in the ignition during fill ups?

Every ford truck I've had since 2001 has done this if you leave it running while filling up.. Or adding a small amount of gas it will take a while to register..also leaving the key on does it.

If its really bad there is a TSB to address it not updating timely.

I do leave the key in the ignition but the truck is not running. Sharper4 do you know the TSB #?

If you leave the key in the ignition, is it in the OFF position?

I have a 06 and I have encountered this issue a few times as well. What is TSB?
