Leveling Kit That Doesn't Require Cutting?
I'm looking to order a leveling kit today. The only one I know for a fact that doesn't require you to cut the studs on the top of the coilover is the ReadyLift.
I did a install of a 2" AS on 10 F150 and that required cutting. Does the BMF require cutting? The ReadyLift of course is the most expensive one but ill have no issue with ordering it if its the only one that doesn't require cutting of the studs. Wayne |
Only one I've heard of was a daystar kit. Actually cutting studs is not common.

I ended up ordering the ReadyLift this morning!

I actually never heard of this, I put a 2" AS leveling kit on the front of my 2011 and didn't cut anything.

Yep, I installed an AS on my 05 Lariat and my 11 XLT, both 4x4. The 05 was cake, the 11 took some wrestling and a pry bar, but ended up popping into place. (Top end in first)

Damn! Oh well, it was 219 for the ReadyLift kit.
The 2" AS i did on a friends 2010 required me to cut the studs a little. Wayne |
Ouch I think I paid around $75 shipped for the AS on my 11', but I didn't get the rear set, I think the whole package would of been around $200 like the ready lift. What really made it fun is as with everything else I do to my truck, it was -10 freaking degrees outside lol.

A little too little too late, but there is definitely no cutting with a set of bilstein 5100's.
