roush boost gauge vaccum help!!

Here is a picture of where I ran the vaccum line. When the truck is at idle it is showing around 15-20lbs of boost. Obviously this is incorrect....can someone tell me what I did wrong? Where does it need to be routed?

That's where I have mine T'd into and mine works fine. Are you sure its not showing 15-20lbs of vacuum?

Yea, it is vacuum. Sorry for the typo. The needle is pointing down. I'm thinking that I may have just teed it in too close to the manifold. Do you think this would cause the problem?

Does it move into boost when the engine is under load?

Do you have access to a scan gauge to see what the PID is showing for manifold pressure?

seeing vacuum in the 11-12 range wasn't uncommon for my SHO at idle

I do not have access to one of the scan gauges. It will show boost when under load...I have seen videos of other peoples' and they sit at 0 until giving it gas.

That's normal. It should be around 15 @ idle.

probably just boost, instead of boost/vacuum

sounds like you are fine.

Do you have part numbers and pix of how you mounted the gauge on the inside? I am sure interested in doing this.

Mine shows 15-20 inches of vac at idle. All gas (Non diesel) motors make vacuum. Light throttle or cruise will show about 0-1psi.
