Ok .. here is a pic.

Looking at the back of the mirror, I used the driver's side bottom wire. green/purple (I think . . I am color blind) for the positive, and the solid black wire. bottom middle for the ground. this is a switched power supply on my 2011 Lariat with NAV

in the pic below, the red arrow is the positive, and the white arrow is the ground location.

Glad it helped. I misread your earlier post. I thought you had already hooked it up, lol. If I would have paid more attention, I would have gone and looked then. I wasn't trying to be a smartass.

Luckily most of the kits come with an in-line fuse.
