Looks like the new Super-Duty grills a bit. You can see the big bars, and the "[ " and " ]" on the sides of the bars.

The grille is a smaller two bar version of the 2011 superduty's grille, nearly exactly.

They do seem to be covering up the headlights more than anything, maybe a sign of things to come!

The headlights look like they have a different shape too... I was hoping ford would stay with the current body style a while. It looks good though.

Is it just a 2013 refresh or a 2014 test muel? I'll be surprised if Ford just changes the front end for 2013 right before the all new model.

This may be a 2014 test mule. The body panels and trim pieces on this test truck are obivously from the current F-150 for the most part. So if this is a 2014, pretty much everything we're seeing other than the grille and headlights is nothing we'll be getting on the all new 2014.

If it is indeed a 2013, I bet they'll add MyFord Touch and Ford's awesome looking Sony dash panel and some other goodies. I am really anticipating the new F-150 and hope that Ford hits the ball out of the park with it.

What he said ^^ seems more logical. Looks like October 2014 I'll be getting a new truck. Give them a year to work out the kinks and get a great deal.

Aren't there some rumors of a F150 with a diesel? Maybe a F250 Light Duty/F150 Heavy Duty platform.

God I hope not, but you're right. Those "bars" completely ruin the SD front end. When you see photoshops of the " [ ] " bars edited out, it looks 1,000 times better. Looks like aftermarket companys will be popular when these grilles debut.

Dearborn Derek said the all new F-150 would be for the 2014 MY, but that was said three years ago. More recently it has been rumored to be 2014 or 2015.

It is likely Ford could be doing with the F-150 what they are doing with the Mustang. The 2013 Mustang gets a facelift of the exterior and interior, but the 2015 Mustang is all new.

For the 2013 F-150, Ford could use a new front end, interior updates, MyFord Touch and stay competitive for the next two years until the all new model arrives for the 2015 MY sometime in 2014 with all new sheet metal, frame, interior, engines and 8 speed tranny.

That's the more likely scenario. 2013=facelift. 2015=all new. It is hard to tell for sure but the lights and grille fit too perfectly in these spy pics for it to just be a test mule of different trucks. I feel bad for anyone buying a 2012 that will be outdated in such a short time. But no matter which truck you get, 2012 or 2013 or 2014 or 2015, they will all be great trucks!
