Any of you guys with F-150 4X4's with the EcoBoost into Truck Pulls?

Reason i ask is i was on another website and a guy on there's buddy asked to borrow his 4X4 EcoBoost for a truck pull.I think he's crazy for letting his buddy borrow it for a truck pull. But his buddy ended up in 4th place out of 14 trucks with a pull of 247' the 1st place truck pulled 254'.I thought that was pretty impressive.

Later Mark.

I wouldnt let my friends drive it let alone pull something with it. Never the less respectable pull.

Yeah, Ingot silver supercrew, looks like a 4x4 Lariat. I think the video said it was from Chelsea, MI

Looks like he made a nice pull.

I think he was manually shifting it.

So, thats what the manual option is for?

Cool

That's my truck and yes, he hit the limiter. He had it in 4L and pulled it down into 1st on accident. It would have done better but lost some momentum when it hit the limiter.

I'm a salesmen at my family's Ford dealer (Varsity Ford) and Chelsea is one of our prime customer areas. I figured it would be good advertisement for the "non" believers. I've gotten a bunch of emails and phone calls about it and so have other sales people.

Even though my (mid 30's) generation understands the eco-boost technology it takes some convincing. Try explaining to a 60 something farmer that "one of them there 6 cylinders with a couple fancy turbos" can do the work of his V-8 AND it will save him on fuel costs.

What she looks like when I roller her day to day. I took the 24's off for the sled pulling.

I do a lot of towing with her.

I've got a 26' enclosed that I tow a couple of my racecars with. She will out pull my old 5.4 S/C while getting better MPG's. I love the eco-boost. Thinking of a tune in the future

This is awesome! Was the 1st place truck a half-ton as well? What type of tires were used, and was there a e-locker in the lariat? Sorry, I know little about sled pulls.
