OEM Coil Cover Ball Studs!

Finally some OEM ball studs for the 5.0 Mustang coil covers.

Not sure if these are from Ford or not but look identical to the Mustang ones. Doesn't list a part number so I assume someone found the supplier or had them made.

Here are the stock OEM studs out of my girlfriends mustang to compare.

I already ordered a set and will compare them to the Mustang ones when they come in.

...
  • listing indcates OEM (Genuine Ford).
    .
  • Blue Oval Industries is an outlet for FoMoCo parts, Ford Racing Performance Parts, ROUSH, SHELBY, etc. *Over the years, I've purchased a # of items from them.
    .
  • part # listed is HW2230. However, this may be (?) an IDentifier for bulk-packaging. If they are packaged, the actual part # will be on the bag.
THANKS! for the heads-up.

Yeah, the only reason I question the actual validity of it being "Genuine Ford" is that it doesn't list a Ford part number. Also I have done some extensive research to find these in the past and only way to get the OEM studs, is to buy Mustang valve covers.

That's what I figured

You're welcome

Just another option and fairly cheap too.

Au contraire. ROUSH has 'em (part # 4010-008-0006) and given their close relationship with FoMoCo (and the fact it wouldn't be co$t effect to manufacture their own part(s)), they're probably genuine Ford.

Au contraire to you, they don't offer them alone anymore.

We shall find out in a few days, and the ad talks as if these are a newly offered part. So maybe they are just that, a newly offered part from Ford.

Besides, there is no pleasing you

OK, another positive, got them in 2 days!

Packaging definitely doesn't look like Ford packaging, and no part number.

EBay stud on the left, OEM Mustang stud on right.

And for $16.50 my coil covers are finally on.

The engine cover will be on soon, once I get an intake I should have everything I need.
