How much can I expect to pay?

Do any of you guys that have been kicking around the idea of buying a new truck know what I can expect to pay for a 2011 SC fx4 ecoboost w/ the luxury package? Thanks!!

For a rough idea, take 10% off the sticker price to get you near invoice. Then subtract any applicable rebates, and you will be pretty close.

If you want to configure one with options, go to www.fordvehicles.com, build & price, spec it out with your options, and you will get the MSRP. Good luck!

supercrew or supercab?

KBB has invoice prices IIRC, they were off around $500 on my truck i bought in april but that should give you a rough idea.

if you are near fort worth give bankston ford of south fort worth a call. they got me an awesome deal no where in the state of texas could match. i literally called about 50 dealers in texas and multiple out of state trying to get a deal on my truck. if you do PM me and i will get you my internet sales woman's name and number.

I just used a $750 coupon Ford sent me in the mail. I orderd the truck and made the deal. Then the coupon came in the mail. When the truck came in 5 weeks later (last Friday) , I gave them the coupon just before I started the final money paperwork. They said it was valid and took $750 off the final price. Look up $750 coupon in the search function.

way high. if it's just luxury package and nothing else i'd guess $34k or so. now if you start getting the 20's, running boards, moon roof, etc it's going to be more obviously.

back in march when i was looking a fully loaded (moon roof, navi, etc) fx4 crew cab long bed w/ 5.0 was 38,500 + ttl. so assume ~$600 on top of that for the ecoboost option.

Yea, well, I was basing off my my truck and my experience. I have a FX4 SC with Luxury and Premium packages. Loaded out with everything. I got the 20's and EcoBoost. My out the door price with tax..tags..everything was right at $40,000

I just price this truck out loaded with out 20" twheels and the price was $46,700. With incentives brought truck to $42k. Also priced out the XLT and that was 38k.

DAMN!! I saw one on the lot yesterday, it was a screw fx4 shortbed, 18's, moonroof, lux package, eco 3.73ls, the high dollar head unit w/nav (i think that's like a $2500 add on), i'm sure im forgetting some stuff. The sticker was 42k or so. I was going to check edmunds for all the incentives. I liked the comment on taking 10% off sticker to get close to invoice, very helpful!

Theres no way I can cough up 42K though!! Might have to wait till december and try to find one like I want-that should be a challenge!
Thanks for the input.

You should be able to get more than 4k off. AtLeast double that. Truck prices are getting out of hand tho.

Yeah, I could probably afford low 30's and not have serious buyer's remorse!

06yz250f 06-10-2011 09:26 PM

A scab with luxury package is around that with some extras. I'm sure a screw with only luxury package would be in that range as well.

Edit. Basically keep the msrp below 42k and you should get in the lower 30s

TICKINGTIMEBOMB 06-11-2011 06:50 PM

I had them give me a price on a FX4 with luxury package, crewcab, the only other options were the running boards, brake controller, and the tailgate step. They said they'd sell it for 38K. Sticker was 44K. He said that was 500 over invoice and if I didnt finance it through FoMoCo, I'd have to add another 1K to the price. I said show me the invoice and he said he couldn't print it out. I said, thanks-goodbye!

06yz250f 06-12-2011 06:47 PM

yea thats ridiculous.

rebates are supposed to be around $5000 now (got an email the other day), sticker on a screw w/ just luxury package is $42,615. invoice probably around $38k-38,500- $5000 = 33000-33500. right where you want to be. and if you want to be nit picky fight to get into their hold back a bit could be cheaper.

crazynip 06-13-2011 09:23 PM

Short answer: WAY TOO MUCH.

You people who buy these trucks, I lol @ you

You dont see those kind of rebates until end of model year, IE: August/September, if at all. Last year they didnt do anything like that because the 2011's were so late.

I have shopped hard...

I have been shopping/educating my self for the last 15 days or so. The end result is that I ordered the exact truck I wanted. Here is how it spec'd out.
2011 Lariat Super Crew 4x4
3.55 Limited Slip Rear End
Eco Boost
Navi
Lariat Plus Package
20" alloys
Tailgate step
Running Boards
moonroof
heated/cooled seats
MSRP: $48,355
My OTD price: $41649
I was also able to trade in my 2009 F150 Supercab Lariat with all the options above (minus eco boost and Lariat plu package) for $28,000. I am hoping my $750 coupon shows up to get to under $41,000.
BTW, I paid $32,000 for my truck in 2009. I demanded the $28000 for trade value, and the dealers excepted. They way I have figured it, the dealer is making $1500 or so on the whole deal. What I have found is if you have a good trade, they will take a short deal on the new, knowing they can make up for it on the used. I expect them to list my truck for $34,995. Even if they end up taking $32k-$33 they will still make $4-5K on the trade.
Remember, the best deal is the one you are happy with. Most importantly, go with a dealer you are comfortable with...and they may not always be the lowest bidder.
