Sick of getting blinded by "H.I.D.'s"

What do we need to do to make people realize how stupid and rediculous they look with cheap HID kits in there stock reflector housing? Not only is it dangerous and blinding but illegal. I really wish the cops would make more of an effort to fine or maybe even seize vehicles that have illegal HIDs...

I agree. I'm glad I don't have to drive in the dark any more because getting blinded by bad HID kits gets old quick.

It sucks because the parts are so cheap and accessible for these vendors to get into the US. They are horrible quality, but the kits are sold for as cheap as 30-40 bucks a set. What other $40 mod says "look at me" like stupid-bright blue glaring lights? People love it for the looks, yet fail to realize how poorly they perform and how hazardous it is to other motorists. Cops should be cracking down on it, its getting ridiculous.

You want HIDs? Do a projector retro-fit.

Yes the cops should really crack down, they could make alot of money in fines. I just love seeing little brats in their Civics or Brand new trucks for that matter with a set of $50 HID's. Theres something about a $50,000 truck with a set of $50 HID's that just screams idiocy...

What exactly are you having done and do you mind disclosing the cost? Turnaround time? I did a Google search on them and went to their site and they do great work. Any particular reason you chose this company over others out there? Are there other companies?

Thanks in advance!

Im thinking of putting a big set of HID off-road spot lights behind my grill, and everytime someone with HID's blinds me I'll flick on my HID lights and return the favour!
