2.5" Leveling Kit? (Don't Stone Me)
Sorry, I know this has been discussed a ziilion times here, but I can't find the specific info I'm looking for via search. Most of the 2.5" level threads pertain to 4x4s with 3" blocks in the rear.
I own a 2010 FX2 Screw and am having a leveling kit installed tomorrow morning. I'm wondering if I should go 2" or 2.5". I measured my fender heights from top of wheel to bottom of fender and there is exactly a 2.5" difference between front and rear. I do not tow, so I'm not worried about a difference there. Another concern is the ball joint angles with a 2.5" vs. 2". From what I could tell during my search, anything 2.5" and under should be okay. Please advise  |
I know some dudes that have FX2s and they went with a 2" leveling kit because the 2.5 gave them a bully-dog stance or whatever. It looks like you're always going uphill:) I thought the 2x4s have a 1.5" block in the rear vs. the 4x4s 2" block. I went with a 2" LK up and now I'm perfectly level. Have you considered a 1.5? I woudn't go higher than 2" though.

Anyone else with an FX2 with a 2" or 2.5" level. I've tried searching, but can't find anything. |

I ended up going with the 2.5" and am glad I did. The front is at the perfect height IMO and is still .25" lower than the front (only noticeable by measuring) Now for some bigger tires :rocker:
