There's a Fly in my Truck
He actually got into one of the front row map lamps in my 2010 F150 FX4 SuperCrew and died. You know, one of those lamps were you push the clear lens to turn it on and off.
I can't figure out how to open up the lens to get him out. Not without prying with a screwdriver and possibly damaging or breaking something. I just wanted to ask how you open it up before I try. Couldn't find anything in the Owner's Guide on replacing the bulbs. He's not going anywhere or hurting anything but I'd rather haul something else with my truck than his corpse--even if he has a negligible impact on my payload capacity. |
Try this here this should get you into the dome light to get it out. I had the same issue with a brown recluse spider (never will I park my truck in my dad's barn again!) Props to tbraquet for the how-to!!
