Torque Specs
I'd like to start a list of different torque specs for common jobs. If anyone knows, or has a Ford tech manual...post 'em up! You know we'll all eventually need them!
Wheels: Lugnuts - Brakes: Caliper bolts - Carrier bolts- Engine: Oil drain plug - Spark plugs - Oil pan - Suspension : Spring cup(top) - Control arm bolts - Balljoint - U-bolts(nuts)- Spring shackle - Drivetrain: Diff cover: Front- Rear- Transmission pan - This is obviously just a basic list, with room for expansion. Only post figures you know are 100% correct, and I'll edit as needed. If this goes well, maybe we can put together an FAQ or a Quick Reference Guide....add this to it and make it a sticky at the top of the page or in the tech section. |
