Adding Dual Climate Control?

Does anyone have ideas on how to change the single "analog" HVAC out of a 2010 w/ Sync, or if it can't be done at all? I know the Sync display is capable of displaying the dual electronic HVAC, but not sure if I can just switch out the HVAC unit itself or if I gotta do plenty of piping modifications too.

Thoughts?

I can't think of a single car that can go from standard to electronic HVAC versions without adding all of the sensors and blend door actuators in. Perhaps it's different in the new F150, but I seriously doubt you can just "turn on" THE Sync function and have it work.

changing to dual zone climate control will cost a lot.
closing the vents is totally affordable!!

Make your next "natural progression" a Lariat! The dual zone climate control is standard.

FWIW - I swapped out my AVAC controls for the dual, digital ones in my Grand Prix and it was a simple plug and play (of course, there was a 2nd plug behind the dash). I also upgraded to the digital computer and put in a Heads-Up Display unit ... all of which had the plugs simply laying there behind the dash. I don't know if Ford does the same thing with their systems (having the wires for both setups and just plugging the unit in designed for your truck).

I just swap out my non Navigation to one with which came out of a Lariat 2015-16 and Navigation works! The unit has dual climate control and I'm also wondering if I can change out my module out for the dual. Im also thinking I will have to replace the plastic housing as well. Hope it all works out!
