When will 2011's be available to order?
 

Wnaat to order a 6.2 SCREW 4x4. Probably XLT with bench (wife wants leather, daughter likes the bench), possibly sport package. Want to do it ASAP as my car doesnt have heat, 172k on the clock. Just had to wait till my wife gradguated (this semester!). I really dont want to have to wait to long lol, dont have AC either. Really chomping at the bit after seein some of your guys trucks.

Even if you do order it in May or whatever you will still have to wait a few months before you receive it. Don't quote me on that.

2011 F150 production scheduled to start Nov 22. Very late this year. Probably due to new engines...

BTW, still no word on if 6.2L will be option on non-Raptor F150 line. Some dealers suspect only on high-end models and perhaps w/max tow pkg? Either way I would't hold my breath on it being available on a XLT. Not trying to be negative. I hope its available as I need oe too.

wow, that is really late..an 2011 released in almost 2011? LOL, dont care about trim, wife wouldnt mind having a kingranch, or an f250. Its not going to be a money issue, our income will more than double (paying on an edge limited right now as well). Its more of me exactly what I want, or as close to it as possible. If I find it won't be offered I will go ahead with a 2010. If it is offered, I will wait..

You never know with Ford. Remember with the 2009s they were almost at dealers lots, (long after ordering started) and we still didn't know hp/tq.


Only to find out it went up 10 hp...

We'll have our best chance of finding out from a source at the factory.

The service manager I spoke too, told me they have no idea when the 6.2 will be available, in anything, including the Raptor, or Super Duty.

6.2 was seen in a HD F-150 at SEMA so I am thinking some models will see it. I have read on the net (so take that for what it is worth) that Ford is having some rod problems that are delaying production.

I've personally also seen it in a Platinum at a local farm show last fall.

Its not rod problems, its supplier problems.
