Judging from the Pics of the new one, from what I can see, I'll be holding onto mine till time has transformed it to a rust box on a frame.......

It has the front of an 2008 Expedition. This is what they're going to look like.

I'm glad you posted those pics....I saw a pair of them traveling together in Metro Detroit the other day, same color and everything. Didn't get that good of a look at them and was wondering what they were. Cool.

No it's not. you may think it is but its not. It will have never before used headlights and grill designs that are nothing like the expy's. Trust me, without the camo you will not confuse the two front ends. They are nothing alike.

They need to make the drivetrain the priority and not mess with the skin too much. The truck is already a winner in the looks dept. They are going to have to provide some more muscle in order to get most people to trade up.

The 09 f150 will look awful if it takes on the characteristics of the expy. That's too bad.

i think its funny how you guys are making judgments on the hew trucks before you even see them and also find it funny that everyone makes such a big deal out of these"spy photos" i was hoping to see an actual spy photo of the truck, you know when someone sneeks into ford and takes a pic of it, not taking a pic of them driving the camo truck around in public

with that aside it will take alot of characteristics from the expy but of coarse it wont be exact, kinda like the previous expy front end looked alot like the curent f150's but was different

This truck really is going to be a SD lite. I love it, with the new engines and f-250 styling on the front end and the side vents and new hood. Man this is gonna be a good chance. DIESEL FTW!

I sure hope so. I really want to go back to an F-150 Supercrew for my daily driver, but the stinking payload doesn't get me far for a weekend of camping with close to 700 pounds of tongue weight, too. The ride of an F-150 is far better than a Superduty - believe me. After 50,000 unloaded miles a year in an F-250, it gets old really fast. After doing this for close to none years, my but will argue with anyone. It may now be cracking in another direction.
Why can't the payloads of an F-150 be closer to the 2,400# mark like they were in the 80's? Oh, I guess the ride on an F-150 would sacrifice, too.
