New Features for the 2008 F-150

In addition to the new back-up camera, there is going to be a new XL SuperCrew model - a first for the F-150; an optional factory-installed remote start; standard tachometers on some models; new colors, stone green on all models and mahogany on the King Ranch; a tire pressure monitoring system on a heavy duty package; and some other items. You can read about it here.

Ford adds features to freshen up '08 F-150

I agree, Ford is the only one to offer mahogany on the King Ranch.

Really? The '07 Sierra/Silverado have optional remote start on the SLE models, it's standard on the SLT models. Dodge has standard remote start on the '07 Ram Laramie. Toyota has an optional back up camera available on the '07 Tundra. Ford is FINALLY adding a cargo management system for '08, something GM has on the '07's and Nissan had in '04.

Tell me again how Ford isn't playing catch-up.

I find it pretty hard to get excited about the exact same model with just a couple of extras on it. Why buy an 08 when the 09's are gonna change? Now I did see a limited that someone posted a couple weeks ago which is worth talking about. As far as the backup camera the tundra has that with their navigation system along with front and rear sonar along with the tire pressure sensors. GM also has the tire pressure sensors and I thought about everyone had the remote start but not sure on that one.
