Hey guys, as the title says, can I put 4X4 bilsteins on a 2wd? I heard the the 4x4 shock is actually 1" taller than the 2wd shock, giving me and extra 1" lift on top of the 2.25" on max setting. Is all this true? Thanks!

Yes, member TJHOLA has done this on his 2010 FX2

 

I think they are 2" longer than the 4X2 ones but they would work just put them at a lower ride height so you don't have crazy angles on everything
