2010 2wd Shifting into reverse problem

Hello again all!

details:
2010 FX2 Supercrew, 4.6, 6.250 miles

Problem:
Shifting into reverse sometimes seems to "lag" before the converter picks up and moves the truck backwards...the engines revs and the truck shudders then starts to move.

the problem is intermittent and doesnt seem to be affected by temperature.

any ideas? anone have the same issue?

That's what a warranty is for - get it to the dealer.

Theres a thread by dark wizard with this same problem. But I do believe it was on another site.

Mod, if its a prob remove it but as I thought I should help...

Now there are other thread you can find as well with the advanced search you can search for his name for others. I'm not sure but I think I remember them changing the trans at least once and he might have ended up lemon lawing the truck....but I'm not sure.

my trans while taking it home from dealer started to have trouble downshifting from 2nd to 1st. the dealer fixed it and said it was a wiring problem in the trans.

Picked the truck up just now, work done:
-PCM and TCM reflash to new values from factory
-there is a plastic piece in the tranny that holds a sensor, this housing leaks and allow air into the sensor, throwing the tranny controller into conniptions. they replaced it per instructions (my service advisor said this will most likely be a recall-for what its worth) and the truck feel sbetter than new.

if you have tranny issues or it shifts hard or hunts i recommend getting it looked at.

my specifics:
2010 Fx2 Supercrew, 4.6, 6k miles. post/PM with questions.
