in my efforts to beat ncTidalWave to a figurative bloody, bloody pulp. Last week I ordered a set of front Bilstein 5100 2.25" lift struts and rear 5100's for 1" of lift that are all custom valved for washboard dirt roads. unfortunately they're stuck in Lexington at my brothers house as they were shipped here on a pallet from Dave at Dialed Motorsports in California.

not that im in any hurry to put them on, i probably wont have my new tires till April.

i also ordered a 3" block (1" of lift) for the rear from Readylift, which should be arriving on Monday.

i also have these 6 3watt LED magnetic disks that im planning (as a summer project) to place under the bed rails as bed lights. i used them on my jeep as rock lights, and thankfully because of their low amperage draw; they can be wired in series and with no relay. straight fuse to switch.

when the front struts go in, hoping by the end of march for new tires, so around then.

if i get a string of some time off in the near future i'll go ahead and put the struts, blocks and shocks in and get it all aligned in prep.

well the clear has been coming off of my ford badge, i pulled it off and removed all the clear and wet sanded it down

then i followed it up by taping off the blue and ford section of the emblem

hit it with 3 coats of semi-gloss rustoleum professional

and removed the tape (thats adhesive from the tape)

so now im going to wait for it to harden (its sitting ontop of a radiator heater at about 120 degrees right now) at which point im going to wet sand it again and then im going to hit it with night shades and then clear it. should look good. updates to follow!
