Lower Valance Grille

Anybody got one that looks good? I can't stand that big hole down there, and living in a state without a front license plate is good and bad. My '04 looked bad enough, but this '09 KR is ridiculous. The only one I've been able to find, besides the mesh is a Carriage Works from Autoanything.

Anybody else looking, or has found one?

I kept the front license plate holder and shopped for a nice, unique plate. My KR is the same color as yours.

sterling09FX4, haven't been able to find a thing to match any of the stock grilles. However, I think I'm just going to put a black one on my KR, since that is basically the only area of my truck that is black. And, here is the cheapest place I've found it.

Wow...didn't realize that link was that long. Surely somebody else in this forum has added a lower valance bumper grille that we could take a look at.

Thumbs up

Ah, just found one on SteveVFX4's pics. I think it looks a heckuva lot better than having that big ol' hole down there. Thanks Steve.

And, after seeing Steve's pics, I definitel think black looks better down there...unless you were to add billet grilles throughout and they all matched.

I have the same one on my platinum, and in case anyone is wondering. it is possible to retain the front license plate bracket with the lower valence grille that steve and i have. just takes a little pressure to get it in there, but once it is, it's not goin anywhere

bunch of copycats! LOL

yeah, I kept saying the black looks better since it matches those black plastic overiders.

However, if a decent looking black mesh insert comes out (not the standard gutter mesh looking one), I might consider switching...

Hey Mickey, where did you order yours and what was the price...since nothing matching has come out yet I'm going to go ahead and order the Carriage Works lower grill as well. Was hoping by now the aftermarket would have a matching black grill accent piece (like on my '05).

thx!!!
