My sub and amp install in my 2009 F-150
It took me a while but I finally finished installing my sound system. I added a Kicker 12" sallow mount powered by a 500 watt Rockford Fosgate amp. I used a pac LOC for my remote and RCAs and now im just waiting on my MTX Re-Q. Overall it sounds great but the bass cuts off as you turn up the radio making the sub sound weak but the Re-Q should fix that.
This is the sub box being built.
Fitting the sub under the seat.
I put the amp behind the rear seat. Surprisingly there is a lot of room for a few amps back there. Mine has about 4 inches of clearance so there should be no overheating.
I used the PAC SNI-45T as the LOC but it also makes its own remote for the amp which is awesome so I don't have to tear apart the navigation system or hunt for the wire in the sub harness.
All I'am waiting for is the MTX Re-Q.

Nice install. I too would like to do the same, but I can't figure how to get the latch to un-hook the rear set backs. What's the trick. Can you please explain this to me. I printed out the papers on this forum to remove the rear seats, and for the life of me, I can't figure how to release the seat back from the rear wall. Any help would be great. Thx in advance.

If you would have removed your factory sub you could have taken your feeds from the low levels which go into the factory amp as it's the factory amp which cuts down your bass. Then used a 12v trigger for the amp. That way you wouldnt have needed the pac loc or the MTX Re-Q. Plus you would have had more space t make a bigger box. Also i dont know what you Xmax is on that sub bit it looks like it going to bashing against the bottom of your seat. Might wanna be careful when ya lower the seat down when sub is on. Mines very low profile and it is extramly close to hitting the seat.

I will post pics tomorrow. Don't listen to everyone else here who says you have to unbolt the seats all you to do is reach behind the seat and unlatch it while it is folded up. I unbolted the seats, unlatched the back then when I bolted it all down I had to get back there and started to mess with the latch and it came off without unbolting the bolts!
