Swapped my gray seat covers for black ones *pics*

I was going to swap out my gray seat covers for black leather but I've decided to go with the black cloth because I will be giving this truck to my son when he turns 16 in a year and a half. I just figured I would save some cash now so when I get my 2011 Ford F-150 I'll buy one with leather! There was nothing wrong with the gray seat covers, I just like the look of the black, overall I think it goes better with the rest of my interior. If anyone is interested in purchasing the gray ones let me know.

I would like to thank Big_Blue_FX4 for selling me his black seat covers at a great price and also 05RedFX4 for posting a great "How to Swap Your Seat Covers" thread.

Gray Covers

Black Covers

The black covers are darker than the pictures appear.

Looks good. You're interior is nice and clean.

Did you tell your son he was almost gonna get leather seats?

My kid would be lucky to get a Ranger for their first car. They'll get to endure 4 years of unreliable crap then be blessed with a relatively new truck.

We made a deal--he does well in school and it's his. If/when his grades start dropping he will lose it just as fast as it was given to him. He will be working for it....plus I can sleep at night knowing he will be safe driving around in an F-150 versus some rice can

I could probably take out all the seats and install a milk crate for him to sit on and he would be happy

Looks good. I installed 05RedFX4's old black seat covers in mine. Looks good with the center console, that's the only part of mine that's still gray but I plan on rectifying it someday with a real console instead of the jump seat.

The new black ones do look good.
Your boy's lucky to get a nice looking truck. When my daughter is ready to drive the last thing I would give her is a Crew Cab truck. I remember being a teen and using the back seat for extra curricular activities. My daughter is getting a hard top, two seater with a manual transmission in the way. I'll bet those new "smart" cars will have dropped in price by then.
Sent you a PM on the gray ones.

That is hilarious! I would do the EXACT same thing. It is funny how you feel about it from a different perspective. I remember my first car. It had a reclining back seat they never believed it till they saw for themselves.

Your welcome. This is the reason I wrote that thread, so others, like you, can do the mod yourself.

Since you used my thread as a guide, was there any part that was confusing or unclear?
