Roush off road intalled

I got my Roush off-roud kit from Woodhouse and intalled it this weekend. I couldnt be happier with the quality and the ease of installation. Easily done with hand tools and a floor jack in the garage. Only took me about an hour and a half.

Truck is an 08 2wd, Scab with 6.5ft bed, and 4.6l

Pics of what you get in the box:

This muffler is small:

All done:

Any advice on the install? Do's Don'ts or are the instructions pretty straight forward? Got the legal exhaust coming soon ( I hope) it is on backorder.

when you loosen the clamp to remove the old muffler

rotate the entire assembly 90 degrees. there is a keyed channed that you must release. it's a PITA

otherwise, these installs are easy

I couldnt get it off that way, but theres an easier way. The pipe in front of the muffler is just a straight pipe about 2-3ft long and I just loosened that and then twisted it loose from the muffler and thats it. You dont have to man handle the huge oem system to get it loose, just a small tube.

Also wd-40 will help you loosed the old stuff up, especially if your truck has a lot of miles on it, mine is only about 6 months old and 6k miles.

If you have any more questions let me know.

I told all my friends it was a 500 dollar system and they thought I was dumb. After I got it on, one of my friends told his wife "come listen to this badass exhaust system we put on his truck". All I know is that it better outlast the truck and I plan on keeping it for a while. I only put about 7500 miles a year.

I live in a salty environment in the winter months, with the road salt, I've had my Roush Exhaust for more than a year & not even a spec of rust! I think it may outlast the truck itself, or the stock pipes that it connects to!........Like I say, you get what you pay for! Enjoy it!............

The exhaust will even sound better once you get it broke in. I absolutely love mine, and it has a very distinctive sound that just screams bad@ss. I have got more compliments on this exhaust then my previous exhaust. Which was a true dual set-up on a mustang that sounded sweet. Now that I have had this kit I will not own anything other then the ROR!
