If all the speculation is correct I think it will look very good. I would prefer a look closer to the Super Duty or Tonka with one look through all Ford trucks, F150 , F250 and up. I would buy one. A 4.5 diesel would also be nice.

I think it will look good just take a little time getting use to the new style when it comes out.

No one has seen any great pictures of the new truck so how can we judge? We have discussed the 3V 5.4L in a couple threads. General concensus is that the power is welcome and we are confident it will be great for towing. Some commented that even with the advances in technology, it is still behind in power compared to the Dodge Hemi. Maybe fuelk economy is much improved, but we don't have numbers.

One thing for sure is that we are all anxiously awaiting the NAIAS Jan 2003.

Thumbs up thoughts on new f150

I have been quite happy with my 2001 f150 Super crew (lariat) I right from day one wanted Diesel availability! but it has ben one delay and dissapointment after another. I would for sure like to see most of the upgrades that we have seen on the 2003 Expedition! they sure have done a great job there and they drive nice also!!! , But I still for the life of me can't figure out why ford can't bring the 6cy smaller diesel to life! it is not rocket science , but certainly strict EPA laws and restrictions are in the way!!! My first Diesel was a 1985 Turbo diesel jetta an amasingly capable little car with power to spare! and tork to! and 49 mpg in 1985!!! come on FORD!!! but how is it ok to have one emmision standard for the biger trucks 7.3 6.1 and a different standard for the light duty trucks future baby diesel?? mystery engine!!! let me explain further! , If I get fed up and tired of waiting for newer diesel engine , and trade my f150 in for a f250 powerstroke have I helped the EPA or emissions or improved the invirement in some way?? by driving a bigger truck than what I truely need or want? I am sure this will get some conversation going and some thoughts and Ideas flowing , and some will say I am full of it! but these are just my thoughts nothing more! thanks , Skully
