Lincoln Mark VIII cooling fan motor failure
 

Yup years ago I installed the Lincoln Mark VIII electric cooling fan on my 150 (over ten years ago) Well it failed....(was from a junk yards so who knows real age) I was pleasantly surprised to find one on Rock Auto site under Lincolns and received replacement. Was around $50 . I had to drill out the rivets on old assembly and find some screws and hardware to mount new motor. The fan blade came off real easy and after installing the new motor I have saved my old electric cooling fan mod....Yea....The plug for motor was exactly the same and Now it is quiet and runs again. The bearings went completely on the old motor.
