'06 F-150. Has anyone tried replacing the factory on/off oil pressure sending unit with a variable unit that powers the oil pressure gauge? I'm thinking that might be all it takes to have an accurate oil pressure gauge without adding an aftermarket gauge, which I don't want to do.

Anyone?

 

It's been done before. I looked at doing it to the 2004 I had. All that was required was to change the sending unit out but I don't recall the part number. Google it, you should find it.

 

I'll just take it in the shorts and go see the Ford store. Thanks.
