Outside of paying big bucks for new motorcraft rotors on my 2005 F150 STX RWD, I opted to be in the middle and have bought a few sets of AC Delco. I just wanted to see what brands everyone else has been using with good luck? The front rotors on mine have the hub included so not a lot of options for places to turn them, it just seems like I don't have these AC Delcos on for more than 10K and i'm back to pulsating again.I would like to venture to a different brand to see if they last longer.

I tried Autozone's best grade on the rear of my truck and they warped pdq. I have bought but not installed yet the "heavy duty" Bendix rotors from rockauto to try next. if they warp, I'll buy Motorcraft from rockauto. Rockauto does sell Motorcraft rotors.

 

Centric rotors, Powerstop pads. I have a 2WD as well, but I went with the 2-piece hub/rotor conversion hit last time I did the front rotors, so that it uses the 4WD version. Benefit is just that the rotors and hub are separate and you can install new wheel bearings at that time if yours are original. No more messing with 2WD front 1-pc units and pressing in bearings.

Centric Conversion Kit (Part 120-65128) includes (1) front rotor, (1) hub assy/bearings, (1) nyloc spindle nut and runs about $140, so double that to do front brakes.
I used Centric rear discs as well, but those are the same as 4WD I believe.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I’m ordering pretty much the whole front end suspension replacement now and may finish with these rotors. Truck has a 194k and would like it to feel a lot better again

What are we looking at here? Did the Amazon kit arrive with it pre-greased, lol?! If so, then someone returned it after packing the bearings and probably after installation.
