2004 f150 BW 4406 transfer case swap with 06
I have a 2004 f150 4x4 with a bad transfer case.
I have a tag number of 4L34-BB I found one out of a 2006 f150 with a tag number of 6L34-BB. They are both BW 4406 transfer cases. I was wanting to know if they will swap out any help would help me.
Also any common problems with the BW 4406 transfercaeses I noticed it shaking in 4hi and after I got it up off the ground realized the transfercase was making all kinda noise in 4hi drained the fluid and it was black and metallic colored with some metal in the bottom.
