05 5.4 PATS issue? crank, no/intermittent start. Lots done!
I feel like I’ve been searching for days. So I have a crank no start issue. Sometimes it starts sometimes it don’t. Erratic rapid flashing theft light& wrench light to the same beat. Also noise by the fuel tank at that same beat. I just keep cycling until it starts up then everything is normal. Runs and drives great. Shows code p2107 on scanner. U900 and U950 on the HEC test What I've done. FPDM Swapped PCM relay Checked fuses none blown PATS tranceiever New key Throttle body motor (mechanic advice) he also checked fuel pressure, crank sensors and spark. Reseat cluster connection Reseat PCM connection One dealer said they don’t want to mess with it. I’m at a loss here except trying another dealer. Anything anyone has seen or heard of lately? |

You may have to find a good mechanic who knows how to use a scanner and is competent at troubleshooting circuits. If you live in NY, I suggest you take it to South Main Auto Repair or Pine Hollow Diagnostics. I've been watching their videos and they solve some complex problems.

I'd suspect a scanner is going to be of limited use in this case.
U900 and U950 on the HEC test Erratic rapid flashing theft light& wrench light to the same beat. Also noise by the fuel tank at that same beat. Is there any history about what happened when the issue first occurred and immediately prior? |
