Will a 295/70R17 fit in the spare well of a 2006 F150?

Yes. A 35"/12.5"/17" will fit.

Your tire:
Diameter 33.3"

Width 11.6"

Sidewall 8.1"

Circum. 104.4"

Revs/Mile 607

I have 285/70-17s on mine. I had to get a 2" strut spacer kit to keep the tires from rubbing on tighter corners...'08 F150 8200...just my $.02.

Edit -- nevermind. I just saw you were talking about the spare tire well. Lol

Dewey, your comment is completely relevant.

In order to use a 33" tire, the front end needs to be lifted. This could be accomplished with a coil spring spacer. Often referred to as a leveling kit. With a 6" lift, you can fit 35" tires.

It's always a good idea to have a spare tire the same size as the tires you are driving on.
