2004 door lock question

On my 2004 SCAB I realized something a few months ago and and I’m just now looking into it. When I put the truck in park and turn off the ignition my drivers door unlocks automatically, but not the passenger side. Locks work normally with door switches and my key fob unlocks both doors normally. But if I turn off the truck, hop out and go around to the passenger side to get my daughter out the door is still locked. Is there an option somewhere to get both to unlock? Or is something not workin right? If anyone could verify this on their truck too I would appreciate it.

Will it unlock using the driver's door switch? Shouldn't be a big deal doing that before getting out. Or, just hit the fob button.

Yes all switches work, and my key fobs are down for the count at the moment (aftermarket system and the control box fried, waiting for a replacement now, that’s why I’m noticing this problem now lol) but they worked normally till last week.
