Question 3rd Brake Light

Hello all.
I need a new 3rd brake light. I want to order it from EBAY. Anyone here buy one from EBAY? Did you have to apply any sealant, gasket material, double side sticky tape, etc.? I want one that is plug and play. And, I don't want a DORMAN brand.
THANKS!

Thanks for replying. That's exactly what I was wanting to know, if I could use one of the lower priced 3rd brake lights. You wouldn't happen to know which one you bought, huh? You can go to your EBAY customers orders history and it will tell you. If you can get that info. for me I would appreciate it, A LOT!
THANK YOU!

Don't go crazy tight on the screws, my first one cracked and they sent me a new one. Cruise still works and it's not leaking.

Man, that sure looks nice. And, it looks as if everything is already there. Plug and play, correct?
Thank you Sir!
BTW, which one is that on your truck, the black or smoked?

It has the Black in side with the "smoked" lens. It's the worlds lightest smoke lens(why I liked it) you can still see inside it just has a touch of tint to it. Has connectors ready to plug into the sockets. Plug and play, has the load resistor in it for the brake light so your cruise control is still operational.

Thank You Sir.
I went ahead and ordered the one you sent in your link.
Is that your truck in the pics? If so, it looks nice.
Thanks for your help.

My son has an 05 F-150. He liked my 3rd brake light I just recently bought so much he bought one too. Upon installation he over tightened one of the screws and the plastic cracked. I told him to back it off a bit and to just put some silicone on it. Do you think they will replace it like they did yours? I told him it would probably be okay and not leak.
