Chugging truck

I went to start my truck today and all it would do is roll over. I did this for 5min until it finally started. This also happened yesterday. Driving down the road it would chug a lot no matter how I shifted or got on it. I have new can phases plugs and coils and also recently new cats. What could the proyblem be.

It could be a number of different things.

It has to have a CEL on if it's chugging. Can you get the codes read?

It could be injectors, fuel filter, fuel pump, throttle body, MAF, or the FPDM.

No cel on have new filter. I was thinking fuel pump but wanted to make sure before I have it installed. Anything else you think for sure could be the problem.

Before you think fuel pump, check the FPDM.

It's on the crossmember above the spare tire, they corrode. You need to remove it and check the back side.

It would have been fine if they had used standoffs at the factory. Replacement ones can be bought with a standoff kit.

Sorry to hear about getting hosed... but on the bright side, you'll have a functional truck again.
