2007 4X4 Control Gone Crazy
Started the old girl this morning and noticed 4WD High Light was on even though selector switch was on 2WD High.
Rocked it, the truck, back and forth and....finally light turned off but I didn’t dare head out on the highway with it. 141,000 miles.

First check the grounds, if they check out, check the actuator on the transfer case make sure it is moving back and forth, sometimes they just need a knock on them with a dead blow , if that does not change things try a new sending unit

i am having similar issues. But only when truck is fully warmed up. Never cold. And does it from 0-80 mph
I have a new engine with Motorcraft plugs and coils. I replaced the fuel filter, air filter. New tps, cleaned throttle body. Checked wiring. New fpdm.
