Series of events, now truck won't start....ideas?

I replaced it about 8 years ago about the time the rot issue became apparent with them, it was OEM. Currently it has a Dorman one in it but I don’t expect it to last. Once I somewhat recover from this financial kick in the nuts I’ll probably put an OEM back in it
