4.2l supercrew?

I've been looking for a long time for a 4.2l v6 supercrew but I never find ANY.

Does that mean they don't exist? I can't find verification through many of the typical sources.

I loved my v6 but I had a standard cab.

The Supercrew is usually more expensive and has a more expensive engine. The 4.6 2V V8s are very reliable. They would be okay too.

Thanks! I couldn't find anything confirming whether most people just opted for the larger motor or if it literally did not exist in the super crew. Based on your part it sounds like it literally was non existent.

That 4.6l 2v ngine was pre 2004 only, right?

I'm surprised how few pre 04 crews are on the market, but they have popped up from time to time.

The 4.2 V6 was never offered in the SuperCrew. No V-6's of any type were offered till 2011.

01-03 had 4.6 2V standard, 5.4 2V optional.
04-08 had 4.6 2V standard, 5.4 3V optional.

The 4.2 V6 was standard in all 97-03 (and 04 Heritage) body styles except SuperCrew. It was also standard in the 05-08 standard cab 2wd.
