OBD Scanner unable to read from diagnostics port.
Two days ago I had my truck scanned for a CEL, trans error code and it was fine. Read Code P0743 and two others. But today with the same scan tool I'm unable to get it to connect.
. Message... scan tools needs power from vehicle to perform test. I'm lost any ideas of what it could be?
also have another issue with the transmission. Think it could be electrical. I have checked under the truck and around for disconnected or broken, burnt wires. O2 sensors ect.
