I have two wiring harnesses that aren't plugged into anything under my drivers side dash area. anyone know what these are for?

Thanks!

The red connector, I had one on the 2004 I had. It went to the factory alarm. Mine never worked right so it got pulled and thrown away. You would have thought there would be more to an alarm than that like reprogramming but all I did was disconnect it and it was done. The other I have no idea.

Hmm, i didnt see anything to connect it to, do you have an idea of where it should be plugged in? I was hit by another driver and the body shop did well on the body work, not so much on putting the interior back together...

Thanks for your response!

The alarm was a small box about 3" square and about as thick as the plug. It just hung there. I think all that model did was an ignition disconnect and flashed a red light on the dash right at the VIN under the windshield. I doubt there was much electronics inside the box as it weighed nothing. One thing is for sure, you're about to find out if it controls anything on the truck once you get to driving it again.
